Today is a gift from God..to me...
Wrapped up and tied with a bow.
No..it's not my birthday,
He just wants to let me know...

That as the sun comes up each morning,
And He paints a beautiful sky,
I won't have to wonder at it all...
I'll know the reason why.

The things I do for others this day
Will be my gifts to God,
A smile, an extra minute of my time,
A pat on the back, an approving nod.

Every day I receive a gift from Him...
And I'm very thankful too!
Look around when the day dawns tomorrow..
He's offering the same gift to you.

In word, in love, in song; It's a
Beautiful world when we start that way
And feel nothing could possibly go wrong.

It's a beautiful world when we take the time
To think about what we see,
It's a far better world when we act upon the
Thoughts sent to you and me.

It's a far better world when we act upon the
Thought of lending a hand.
It makes our day flow along smooth..
Even smoother than we had planned.

When evening comes and sunsets fade
And we've done all we set out to do,
It's a far better world for you and me
And we're ready to face it anew.

The joy of living is found in giving
Every hour of the day.
One form of giving and a joy of living
Is being sincere in what we say.

Offer a word of encouragement,
Perhaps a word of cheer,

To whisper "I love you"...
You can change a loved one's sky
From gray to shining blue.
