Because God cares...
The day is bright.
Because God cares...
Things are made right.
Because He cares...
For you and me...
He sends His love...
That we may see...
All our suffering
And all our pain...
Is for a reason...
And not in vain.
Because God cares
For you and me...
He makes it plain
For us to see...
That the victories gained
Are not our own...
But part of His strength...
Which He has loaned.

You cannot hear the still small voice
When your heart is filled with fear.
You cannot comprehend the Master's Plan,
Until you are ready to hear.

You cannot be ready to listen
When the Master speaks to you,
Until your heart is quiet,
Then you are ready to hear Him through.

When all human sources of help are gone,
Perhaps a tear or two has glistened,
It is then we turn to Our Father
And really begin to listen.

When we can turn loose of our worries,
Out doubts and our fears,
This is when we turn to our Father...
This is when we know that He hears.

When we begin to give thanks...
That we know Him and He understands,
We will have the answers we're seeking,
When we leave it all in His hands.

I thought of you today and said a prayer,
That God would keep you safely in His care;
That He would make you well again and strong...
So that you, too, might enjoy the robin's song.

I thought of you so often through the day...
And prayed that He would help you find the way...
To health, and strength, and peace...
And that your troubles soon would cease.

I've thought of many times in days gone by,
When I saw a beautiful rainbow in the sky,
How I knew a definite closeness, yet felt odd
That it was I who should be so very close to God.

I thought of all the suffering you'd been through,
And of the many times that you'd been blue.
And I asked myself, why it was that I...
Could find such happiness just gazing at the sky?

Could it be that I have faith enough for two?
If that's the answer, I'll gladly share with you!
So to let you know how very much I care...
I thought of you today...and said a prayer/

Why are there such lovely sunsets
When day comes to an end?
How can there be such warmth
In the hand shake of a friend?

Why is there so much beauty
Which, so often we do not see?
Why does life seems to pass us by?
What CAN the answer be?

So often we are not aware
Of the beauty seen and heard;
Of the warmth of that hand shake,
Of the comfort of a word...

Until we begin to think of others,
And put their needs before our own;
Until we are willing to share...
The love..that we have known.

So often we are not attuned
To His wave length from on high.
We are just not receptive
To the beauty of the sky.

His blessings are always beamed to us
Each and every minute..and yet...
We cannot receive His blessings
Until we turn on our receiving set.

S ometimes in your looking away.

I t is something in your make up,
S econd nature to you somehow,

Y ou always find a way to help
O thers... help them understand,
U ntil their sun shines brightly,
because of your helping hand.
