You make such a beautiful world
For almost all to see.
Yes You make such a beautiful world
Sometimes I selfishly think..just for me.

The early morning sunrises
The evening sunsets with colors bright
And then You send the glowing moon
Ans sprinkle stars throughout the night.

I'm so thankful when You make me aware
Of the beautiful sights I see
And I wish that one and all will share
In the beauty You send to me.

I wish for all...quiet moments
To set cares and worries aside
So that You can also make them aware
And that with You they'll abide.

You make such a beautiful world
Please continue to make me see
That You do this for all who will look
And who want to commune with Thee.

The sad news has just come to me
About the trouble which has come to you.
And I'm sorry to know, my dear friend
That you might be feeling blue.

My very first reaction
As was yours, too, I suppose
Was why this had to happen
But really, no one knows.

I kept asking myself questions
And I thought of it a bit
How life is much like a puzzle
And then the answers seemed to fit.

We ask why these hardships are given
Why they can't be taken away
Then we begin to hear the answers
We begin to hear Him say

"No task will ever be given to you
Which you must handle alone
Ask and it shall be given
Seek and you'll be shown"

"Knock and it will be opened
Look and you will find
The answers to these hardships...
For they are in your mind"

I have posted all of the meditations in my booklet of Quiet Moments.
However...will continue with those from my newest booklet entitled Reflections of Love. Some of these have a different format in that some of them were requested about a particular person or situation. I would always add when the request came to me...yes I will do it IF
the words come to me. The words did come...through God...and again I just held the pen as He wrote.

Reflections of love are everywhere
Like..showing another that we care.
Like..building bridges instead of walls
Being ready to help when someone calls.

Reflections of love answer human needs
Like..seeing flowers where there are weeds.
Like..believing in someone who feels down and out
Like..somehow helping them get rid of doubt

Reflections of love seem to come out of the blue
Yet..reflections of love come from me and from you!!

Have you ever walked with a little child,
And really seen the things that he sees?
His utter fascination with flowers...
And butterflies..and trees.

Have you ever really listened
When he stopped to chat with a dog?
Or were you too busy to listen..
Your mind all in a fog?

Have you ever watched a little one
Investigate a toy...
And looked into his inquisitive mind...
At that moment, filled with joy?

Oh yes, we grownups are too busy
To really hear and really see.
Our minds are filled with thoughts of self
And things that someday may be.

Then it seems we hardly turn around
And that child is little no more...
And we've missed so much that he's seen and heard...
So much..God for us..had in store

Have you ever spent a day with God...
And known that He was near?
Have you ever sat and just had a chat...
And really listened enough to hear?

The day will start out bright and sunny
And seem to stay that way all day...
If we try to spend the day with Him
And really listen to what He has to say.

You'll know a calm and peace of mind...
And an easing of all tension.
You'll begin to see and understand
Problems that friends have mentioned.

You'll begin to think of others...
And forget about youself..and
The problems you've been harboring,
You can put back on the shelf.

It's nice to spend the day with God...
And have your thoughts made clear...
And it's nice to think about..and help
Friends you hold most dear!
