Every hour..of every day...
Giving just a bit of self
To each person we meet on the way.

One reason for living is leading
The best life we can lead...
Living it only in moments we share
Not with selfishness and greed.

We may share of our sorrows
We may share of our joys...
We may share in our silence
We may share in the noise.

The important thing is that we share
Take time for one another...
Giving just a bit of self
To neighbor, friend or brother.

It's important, too, that we take some time
To be quiet...and alone...
Take time to give just a bit of self
To Our Father...for the love He has shown.
